Looking ahead, 2025 marked a significant year for Bolsover, with regeneration projects transforming the town centre. Improvements to public spaces and shopfronts are helping to create a more attractive, welcoming environment for residents. The development of new creative and community hubs was designed to bring more activity and energy into the area.
Families had access to local schooling close to home, including New Bolsover Primary and Nursery School for younger children and The Bolsover School for secondary education. Both are based in Bolsover itself, which made them convenient options for families living at Sherwood Fields.
Plans for a new sixth form college will further strengthen education opportunities within the town. Additional schools can be found in surrounding areas such as Clowne, Shirebrook and Chesterfield.
