Stancliffe Homes submits plans for a 105 home development in Bolsover, Chesterfield.
Stancliffe Homes is delighted to have submitted plans to deliver 105 new homes in Bolsover as part of the District’s flagship development.
Together with development partners Strata Homes and Persimmon Homes, Stancliffe have been part of a development consortium to bring forward the second phase of the ‘Bolsover North’ development. Plans submitted include a total of 547 new homes, together with a new town park and areas for a new primary school and care development.
Located on land between Oxcroft Lane and Wellbeck Road, Stancliffe’s proposed development will comprise a mix of three, four and five bedroom homes and bungalows. It will feature 17 of Stancliffe Homes’ house types, which are packed with character, highly energy efficient and come with a market leading specification. A number of these homes have been designed specifically for this development.
Bolsover is a beautiful area with scenic landscapes and green space with the Peak District National Park and Sherwood Forest nearby. It has fantastic visitor attractions either within it, such as Bolsover Castle, Creswell Crags and Hardwick Hall; or nearby such as Chatsworth House.
Bolsover has lots of places you can visit and have fun with the family, both in the immediate locality and further afield. There is also easy access to city life if you want it as the area has three cities that are relatively close by. Bolsover is a place of surprises, of quality and it is an attractive place for building a business, an affordable place to live.
If given the go ahead by Bolsover District Council, work at the development is set to commence in early 2026.
