Our Most Eco-Friendly Homes Yet

Over the last 12 months, we’ve committed to making sure all our new homes achieve the highest possible standards for energy efficiency. That has impacted the materials we use when building our new homes, the design of our homes, and the way the heat our homes. This has resulted in all the new homes we’ve started over the last year achieving an EPC ‘A’ rating for their energy efficiency.

Our new homes coming to Gateford will be our most energy efficient yet. These 10 homes will be powered and heated by electricity only. This, combined with other low carbon technologies we install together with the high thermal efficiency of our homes, means a Stancliffe Home is exceptionally energy efficient.

Some of the low carbon energy technologies that these homes will feature include:

  • PV panels - these harness solar energy and convert that into electrictity, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and lowering electricity costs.

  • Air source heat pumps - these efficiently convert outside air into heating, using less energy than traditional systems and reducing carbon emissions.

  • Underfloor heating - which provides consistent warmth while operating at lower temperatures than radiators, further conserving energy.

All of the above are clearly kinder to the planet, and mean our customers can live a more sustainable lifestyle whilst not compromising on luxury.
