The Country park delivers wide reaching views over the countryside from the top of site and well maintained trails give options for varying lengths of runs and walks. The park also has a large lake with fishing facilities with picnic benches and a further car park. So plenty to do for dog walkers, runners and fishers alike!

Transport

The Acorns is located just off the B6030 and is easily accessible via the A6117, further linking the development with the A6191 and the A60 for travel across the wider region. The site is within easy commuting distance to Nottingham, Derby and local employment areas. Bus stops with frequent services also link the development with the centre of Mansfield. Mansfield Train Station and Mansfield Woodhouse Station are both less than a 12 minute drive.

Schools – 'John T Rice Infant and Nursery School' is an Ofsted rated ‘good’ primary school just a 10 minute walk away. Within a 10 minute drive, you'll find a further 'good' rated secondary school at Peafield Lane Academy.
