All the team at Stancliffe are delighted to have been granted planning for 38 new homes in Bolsover. This development will feature a range of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes and 3 bedroom bungalows, with prices ranging from £175,000 to £450,000.
We’ll be making start on site soon, and the first homes will be complete towards the end of 2022.
Bolsover is a market town located on the outskirts of Chesterfield and has a rich and varied history. The first reference of the town first appeared in the Domesday book of 1086. The town centre has been designated a conservation area in recognition of its special and architectural interest and there are 21 grade listed 1 or 2 buildings there.
The town also boasts Bolsover Castle, flagship English Heritage site in the East Midlands. With spectacular views over Derbyshire, the fairy-tale Stuart mansion, Bolsover Castle, was designed to entertain and impress. English Heritage are now responsible for the castle and allow guests to wander the lavish rooms of the Little Castle, explore the romantic ruined terrace range, and delight in the views from the wall walk.
Having first been granted a market town charter almost 800 years ago by Henry III, the town still maintains this long standing heritage and markets continue to be held here on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The town has a range of shops, pubs, supermarkets, offices and leisure facilities for local people as well as the Assembly and Bainbridge Halls which provide modern facilities for the community.
