New Plans Revealed
Stancliffe Homes has unveiled plans to deliver a development of 46 homes in the village of Tansley, on the outskirts of Matlock.
Stancliffe Homes acquired the site located off Tansley House Gardens earlier this year and has been working up plans for a high quality scheme of new homes.
Subject to planning approval from Derbyshire Dales District Council, the development will comprise a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes and will also feature a range of 2 and 3 bedroom bungalows.
Properties will range from a two-bedroom mid-terrace house to a five-bedroom detached property, and 30% of the 46 homes planned are proposed to be affordable housing, aimed at helping people take their first step onto the housing market.
If given the green light, Stancliffe Homes would commence works quickly and hope to have the first homeowners living on site in 2023.
Stancliffe Homes Director, Sam Jones, said: "Tansley is a really charming village in a highly sought-after area, and this site is an excellent opportunity to deliver much-needed, high-quality homes in a prime residential location in Derbyshire. All of the homes we are proposing will be built in natural stone, so are in keeping with the local vernacular. They will also be highly energy efficient, which has never been more important.”
“Stancliffe Homes have delivered a large number of high quality schemes of new homes, in highly desirable locations through Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire over recent years, and this development offers an opportunity to expand on this delivery.”
