Planning Approved for 41 New Homes in Great Casterton

We are delighted to announce that the Planning Inspectorate has allowed our Appeal for 41 new homes in Rutland.

The development is located off College Close in Great Casterton, a village on the outskirts of the historic town of Stamford.

The development will bring forward 41 new homes, which will be highly energy efficient and come with the usual high specification finish customers can expect with a Stancliffe home. In line with our strong environmental credentials, the entire development will be fossil-fuel free and achieve the gold standard for energy efficiency. The specification for every home will include solar PV panels, air source heat pumps, energy-efficient underfloor heating, increased insulation, water efficiency measures and an electric vehicle charging point.

Sales Manager, Lynne Siddons, said: “The development will offer a mix of 3 bedroom bungalows and 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes, all delivered in locally sourced natural stone. This part of Rutland is exceptionally well sought after, and we expect to see strong demand for our high quality new build homes in the locality. It isn’t hard to see why, with stunning countryside and a range of excellent pubs, shops, cafes, restaurants and leisure facilities in the close by town of Stamford.”
