New Homeowners Move Into the former Wood End Farmhouse

As part of our development of 75 new homes at Oak Tree Park in Shireoaks, Nottinghamshire, we took on a significant renovation and extension project of an existing farm house located in the middle of the development.

Wood End Farmhouse dates back to the 18th Century and through our extensive renovation and extension works, we have looked to bring the home up to modern standards and deliver an exceptional new dwelling. We believe that the design and materials of the proposed alterations to Wood End Farmhouse respect the history, character and architectural detailing of this historic dwelling.

With new homeowners moving into the home in recent weeks, it marks the end of the transition period of this previously derelict farm house, to a modern family home.

Our customers then had the opportunity to personalise their new home by choosing tiling and sanitary ware combinations, internal doors, carpets, kitchens, handles and more.

After removing all of the existing floors, the farmhouse was then fitted with a modern underfloor heating system, with extensive levels of insulation below to deliver a highly energy efficient home. The kitchen was finished with AEG appliances throughout, together with a range cooker and bespoke oak worktops.
